Trevor Doerksen

Trevor's background is in education and technology, with a teaching degree and a Master's of Science. The subject of his award-winning Thesis and chapter of an international technology handbook is content repurposing, in which the initial idea for MoboVivo's Rapid Repurposing Technology (RRT) was first set out. He was Executive Producer of the innovative SciQ: Science Revealed website and television series about science for kids and also produced one of the first snowboarding films on the market.

Wendy Bernfeld

Wendy Bernfeld is the founder of Rights Stuff BV, and specializes in international content licensing negotiations and related rights advice. Originally from Montreal, now based in Europe, Wendy has over 22 years experience in film/pay TV channel start-up and program buying, beginning as an entertainment lawyer but then spending the bulk of her career as a Senior Movie Buyer/TV Executive. Prior to forming Rights Stuff BV in 1999, she was C.E.O of Canal+ International Acquisitions and Managing Director of Atlantis (now Alliance-Atlantis) in Europe.

Sue Biely

Sue Biely is the Director of Development & Acquisitions and Co-Founder of The Nimble Company, a multi-platform media company creating and managing media brands for the post-tv generation. Prior to Nimble, Sue was the Acquisitions Editor for the late-night Emmy-nominated CBC TV series ZeD. For three seasons, she led the team which screened and licensed over 700 short films from around the world for multiple platforms. With a background in producing, funding, development, broadcasting and business affairs, Sue is in demand as a consultant and speaker and an advocate for innovative independent voice.

Peter Ignacio

Peter Ignacio is the Director of Acquisitions for the AtomFIlms division of Atom Entertainment, Inc. a leading entertainment provider of short content via the internet, television, broadband services, and mobile devices. Originally with the LA acquisitions team of shockwave.com in January 2000, he rejoined the merged company (AtomFilms and shockwave.com) in February of 2003. In between the two tours, he worked as a freelance producer and in post-production on various television projects.

Jeffrey Elliott

Jeffrey Elliott is Founder, President & CEO of BiteTV. He brings twenty-five years of strategic and creative experience in broadcasting, production, Internet, radio and print to Bite. Bite is Canada’s interactive national network designed specifically for the wired consumer and will engage viewers in a unique interactive multi-platform entertainment experience.
Previously, Jeffrey was Senior Vice President of Alliance Atlantis and Managing Director of Netstar Interactive.

Lucie Lalumiere

Lucie Lalumière joined Corus Entertainment Inc. as Vice President and General Manager, Interactive Television in December 2005. Previously, she was Executive Director of New Media at Radio-Canada, heading up new media initiatives, including the award-winning Radio-Canada.ca website. Ms. Lalumiere sits on the Board of New Media Business Alliance (NMBA) and was a Board member for Bell Broadcast and New Media Fund from 2002 to 2005.
Ms. Lalumière holds an undergraduate degree from Université de Sherbrooke and an MBA from McGill University.
