IPL Travel Fellowship
The Interactive Project Lab (IPL) and nextMEDIA-The Future of Digital Content are providing a travel fellowship for an emerging producer to attend nextMEDIA 2006 in Banff, Alberta from June 9th to 11th!
One emerging Canadian new media producer or developer with current new media projects in development will be selected to attend nextMEDIA 2006.
Applicants can qualify for a grant of up to $2,000 to cover anticipated travel expenses, including transportation, accommodation, registration fee, and per diem.
The deadline for entry is Wednesday, May 31st at 5pm EST with the selected Fellow notified on June 1st. No late applications will be accepted.
Entry Criteria:
- Independent Canadian producer or developer
- Minimum of one interactive project in production or development
- Recently graduated or recently begun working in interactive media

Designed to strengthen Canadian capability in the areas of interactive entertainment and cultural expression, the IPL is a unique partnership collectively designed and delivered by three highly respected interactive media institutes: The Banff Centre's Banff New Media Institute, the Canadian Film Centre's Habitat New Media Lab in Toronto, and L'Institut national de l'image et du son in Montreal.
