Volunteer Registration Form (June 13 -16 2010)

Volunteers are required for:

• Daytime coat check
• Monitoring venue access
• Delegate badge stuffing
• Session room assistance
• Staff member or event team assistant throughout the festival
• Evening social events (coat check, info desk, badge verification, tickets sales, ushers)

Types of Volunteers:

Conference Rooms:

• Volunteer in a festival session room
• Assist with seating and counting delegates
• Assist with room set-up
• Available to work all four festival days (Sunday through Wednesday) from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Time permitting, you may sit in on sessions if you are volunteering in that session room

Conference Offices:

• Monitor the Program Executive suite, Conference office or Press room
• Offer assistance and information to speakers, Program Executives, and Press regarding the Festival
• Half day commitment on all three festival days

Social Events:

• Badge Check
• Coat Check
• Ticket Sales
• Ushering
• Social volunteers should be available to work a minimum of 8 hours throughout festival week or assist with pre-festival duties

Orientation Session:

• On Sunday, June 13th 2010 exact times TBA.
• A walking tour of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and Conference Centre buildings. This is a perfect opportunity to get oriented to the Banff Springs 'maze'!
• Sunday, June 13th - All conference room volunteers will be required to attend an orientation session where they will meet with the room directors
